The table lists almost all models in the RX 6000 line and RTX 3000 series, except for the new RX 6x50XT and RTX 3090 Ti series. According to the graph, the Radeon RX 6950XT offers 80% better performance per dollar and requires 15W less power than the GeForce RTX 3090. However, we were unable to verify these claims ourselves.

While these prices may fluctuate, it’s definitely a good way to see how the current market may favor Team Red’s products over Team Green, at least on price, especially given high graphics card prices. in general.

Analysis: What else does AMD offer?

Along with the claim that AMD’s graphics cards are more cost effective, the company also announced a beta version of its new graphics driver for its Radeon line. It seems to offer impressive gains for some games, including World of Warcraft: Shadowlands which runs up to 30% faster and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey which sees a 28% increase. These aren’t the latest and greatest, though, so take claims of improved performance with a grain of salt.

This graphics driver includes version 1.1 of Radeon Super Resolution (Team Red’s super-sampling frame rate booster), as well as Smart Access Memory (SAM) optimizations implemented for Death Stranding and Watch Dogs: Legion.
