Main Message of The Bible in One Sentence – We ran an informal contest on our Facebook page and our weekly Greek email. We asked everyone to sum up the Bible in one sentence, and we got some great responses. Here they are all, along with our pick for the best answer. Look out for more competitions, as we recently had some great Greek second-hand bookstore resources to give out to everyone!
Stewart Guild: Jesus fulfilled all of God’s promises in the Old Testament by announcing and inaugurating God’s kingdom through a New Testament.

Matthew Weeks: The slain Lamb is worthy of every blessing, honor, glory, and power because as God the Son He humbled Himself to bear the curse of human sin in His flesh on the tree and rose from the dead to justify, sanctify and glorify the elect of the Eternal Father, thus fulfilling all spiritual blessings promised in the Bible and insuring a new age Not under the law, but under the person of the Holy Spirit who indwells those who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Paul Keram: The Bible is God’s Word that explains Himself, and our relationship to Him: the creation, the separation, and the redemption of His people to His ultimate glory.

Chris Dickason #2: One Lord rules them all, One Spirit to find them, One Father to bring them all, and in glory bind them!

Main Message of The Bible in One Sentence winner
Alan Bradbury: It is the story of the creation, subsequent fall, and eventual restoration of fallen humanity that God accomplished through the death, resurrection, and return of his Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.
Fitting in the three chapters of the Bible (Creation, Fall, Restoration) and the “midpoint” of the Cross and Resurrection, Bradbury didn’t use repetition! Congratulations to Allen for making the best Bible summary, and thanks everyone for playing!
