  • ~3/4 water, or more to get to desired texture
  • 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried ginger ginger
  • 1 large garlic clove, minced or crushed
  • 1/2 teaspoon+ granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
  • spice of choice, to taste (sriracha, red pepper flakes, etc.)
  • optional small squeeze of lime juice, to brighten up the flavors
